Outdoor Activity
Outdoor Activity was really enjoyable to me because it gave me some time to have a lot of freshness from beautiful nature and pleasure from free conversation with Jeff and other trainees in my class. First activity we had was walking around Hoedong Reservoir after lunch with all the trainees and professors in TTP course. Even though it was rainy, we had a good time taking a walk together. At UN Cemetery, I felt sorry and grateful for many foreign soldier’s sacrifices during Korean War in 1950. Also, while I was climbing up and down Hwangyeong mountain, I really enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful scenery of the mountain and I became a big fan of it. I want to hike there with my family together. In fact, I didn’t like the movie “The Immortals” so much because of the cruelty and violence but the old man’s saying in the movie was impressive to me: The problem is not how to live long, but how to live rightly. Kalguksu before walking around Igidae and Patbingsu after it and Ssambap on the last activity was really nice.
